Costume sale Toronto

Huge costume sale in Toronto next weekend

It's never too early to start preparing for Halloween in Toronto. I mean, doesn't everyone start working on their costume in July? If you're one of these All Hallows' Eve preppers, you should probably head to Theatrix Costume House this week.

The long-standing store at 165 Geary Ave. is hosting a garage sale on July 16 and 17 because it's moving to Parkdale at the end of the summer. Naturally, it needs to clear out some pieces. So get ready to stock up on sequinned and feathered attire.

Theatrix carries costumes, accessories, wigs and head pieces from a variety of different eras and on the weekend, there will reportedly be more than 50,000 items on sale. Prices will range from $5 all the way up to $5,000, but most items will be between the $50 to $200 mark.

There's nothing quite like rummaging through a costume closet, while deciding which persona you're going to take on. And now, you can do it on the (relatively) cheap.

The Theatrix sale runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. next weekend.
