Biko necklace

Toronto Gift Guide: Biko kaleidoscope necklace

It's day number 19 of my quest to find some of the best gifts in Toronto. Today's Pick: Biko Kaleidoscope necklace. I love multitasking jewellery - photo-keeping lockets, time-telling pocket watches and now this gorgeous necklace by Biko that doubles as a mini kaleidoscope. The little eyepiece is an honest-to-goodness antique circa 1950s England. Biko leading lady Corrine Anestopoulos dares you to "see the world in a different dimension" while using your portable kaleidoscope around town. When was the last time a string of pearls worked that hard?

Additional Specs: Brass & glass, chain length 32", designed and hand-assembled in Toronto

Best for: Urban explorers

What it'll cost you: $149.00

Where to get it: Biko's website
