Compact Nookie

If you're anything like me, you love cosmetics, you have too much of it and you don't know what to do with it. Usually, the cute packaging compels me to purchase the item despite the fact that I rarely use the stuff.

Recently, I was given one of those combination makeup sets made by Too Faced Cosmetics. I immediately fell in love with the packaging, a vintage inspired 50's pinup girl with the words "The Heartbreaker" emblazoned in a cheeky font. Its slim compact case measuring 4" by 5" and only 1/4" high, made it perfect for touting around.

It happened to be one in a series of kits called "The Quickie Chronicles." This particular set is a mix of peachy earth tones that is very complimentary on many skin tones (I found this out during one of those random-girls-go-to-bathroom-together meetings). Its easy colours made it practically idiot proof for people like me. Each kit comes with three eye shadows, one blush and four lip glosses making the need to carry a cosmetics bag to functions practically nil. The only thing that stops this product from getting a perfect score is the lack of a mirror on the case. Other than that, it's the perfect party accessory.

Other titles in the series are The Beach Bunny, The Party Girl, The Life Of The Party, The Summer Lover, The Naughty Girl, The Sweet Tarte and Man Eater.

Too Faced Cosmetics are available at Sephora located at the Toronto Eaton Centre and Yorkdale Shopping Centre.
