Toronto just got a permanent lemonade stand

When life gives you lemons, make lemonade. Truer words couldn't be spoken for Toronto's newest bakery cafe, The Lemonade Stand.

Toronto's first shrine to lemonade opened its doors in the Beaches last weekend and is serving up a menu stacked exclusively with lemon baked treat and drinks.

Bottled lemonade comes in three flavours (sweet, tart and pink - $3 each) and the friendly owner lets you try them before you buy to make sure you order the one best aligned to your tastes.

Along with lemonade, there are individual-sized offerings of lemon cheesecake ($4), lemon pie ($4), lemon squares ($3), lemon loaf ($2) and lemon muffins ($3),

The shop is tiny with white walls, an iPad for checkout and limited seating next to the front window overlooking Queen. But with Kew Gardens just a short walk away who needs to drink their lemonade indoors?
