Indie Coffee Passport Toronto

Indie Coffee Passport returns for year two

Café wanderers rejoice — the Indie Coffee Passport is back for a second year. In fact, the new Passport went on sale September 1st. Although the concept remains basically the same — $25 gets you one espresso-based beverage/coffee/tea (up to $4 on the menu) at each coffee shop — the list of participating cafés has witnessed significant turnover. Far from a bad thing, the new inclusions should encourage further exploration of Toronto's many independent coffee shops, which is the whole point of the program. Here's a breakdown of who's in and who's out for 2011.

And, as we mentioned last year, there are some other notable absences, most of which make up members of the so called Toronto Coffee Conspiracy will also remain absent for 2011 (e.g. Lit, Dark Horse, White Squirrel, Mercury, Sam James).

Indie Coffee Passports can be purchased online or from some of the participating cafés. For more info, check here.
