Dearing Short-Changed

Why is it that NOW's Sarah Dearing always gets the short end of the stick? Once again, food critic Steven Davey gets the plum assignment and gives high marks to the food at revamped Habitat on Queen West. While Davey savored the mole duck and smoked turkey mulligatawny soup, poor Sarah got served soggy calamari at sad-sack Spaha.
True to form, Sarah comes up with the one N review. It wasn't too long ago that her NOW colleague was in the Precipice Studios designed space raving about the mussels. My experience at Spaha has been less than enthralling. Last time I was there was a few years ago and I refuse to go back. Not that I am a huge fan of Habitat, but with bad boy chef Greg Couillard back in business, maybe its time to give it another try.
