It's going to feel like -19 C in Toronto next week

It's time to break out your warmest winter gear because temperatures are going to drop well below zero degrees, feeling like -17 C in Toronto next week.

Toronto has had an unusually warm start to the winter with temperatures of up to 17 C in December breaking records

It's going to feel like -14 C with the wind chill starting on Monday with temperatures dropping to -19 C by nighttime according to The Weather Network.

The rest of the week's forecast predicts a bit of a warmer week with temperatures rising up to 1 C by Thursday. Most of the week is predicted to be a mix of sun and clouds with a few flurries scattered throughout the week.

By the weekend there will be a bit of snow on the ground with predictions of 1 to 3 cm starting on Friday.

Environment Canada is also forecasting similar temperatures throughout the week and weekend.

With temperatures dropping this low, make sure to properly bundle up if you plan on going outside so you don't end up frozen.
