Toronto temperatures could be in for a big drop this week

The weather outside is frightful, so you better find a Toronto bar with a fireplace to feel a little bit more delightful.

While we just got our first real snowfall of the season, it looks like the cold weather is here to stay. According to the Weather Network's forecast, we're in for some chilly nights this week.

The mercury could dip as low as -20 C on Thursday night. This means it's time to bust out your parka (if you've been keeping it hidden away), hat, gloves and winter boots to keep warm.

On the plus side, it no longer feels weirdly and unseasonably warm out, and perhaps we'll even get a white Christmas this year!
