Mr Peanut Balloon Toronto

Toronto is completely obsessed with this flying peanut

It's a bird, it's a plane, it's a giant Mr. Peanut balloon? Yup, that's right. If you've looked up at the sky recently, you may have noticed a humongous Mr. Peanut hot air balloon floating around Toronto.

It's been spotted everywhere from Fort York to the DVP, and Torontonians can't seem to get enough. Maybe it's his infectious smile, his classy monocle or just the sheer size of the balloon. Or maybe it's just because the idea of a flying peanut is just so bizarre.

With sightings rampant over the past few weeks, if you haven't seen it in the sky you've most certainly seen it on your Instagram and Twitter feeds.

To wit, here's a peek at Toronto's obsession with the flying Mr. Peanut hot air ballon.
