Rob Ford Santa Claus

If Rob Ford could give Toronto one gift, it should be...

Given the time of year, we thought it worth asking what might be the one gift that Rob Ford could give Toronto that would make the city a better place in the new year. He's already boasted about about all of his accomplishments in 2011, so one suspects he'd appreciate a few ideas from our taxpaying Twitter followers on how to keep up the good work in 2012!

Or not. As became clear in about two minutes, the vast majority of folks who took the time to respond to our question would like nothing more than for Ford to resign. That would be quite the act of altruism, wouldn't it? Working under the assumption that our mayor isn't about to throw in the towel just yet, the list of suggestions below has been edited to place emphasis on some of the other ideas tossed in the ring.

Happy holidays, Rob.
