Toronto Lightning Storm

Downtown Toronto gets lit up by passing storm

So that was quite the light show last night. Despite the fact that the worst of the storm passed to the south of the city, the CN Tower still got bombed pretty good. It's funny — you'd think it'd be easy to put together a photo gallery like this every time we get a significant thunderstorm, but it's actually quite rare that more than one or two photographers in the blogTO Flickr pool upload such dramatic photos of lightning hitting Toronto. So while we've already devoted our photo of the day to the subject, it only made sense to put a fully fledged gallery together. Check 'em out. Lead photo by reemond.
