SummerCamp Dance Party at CiRCA

SummerCamp Dance Party: Creativity at CiRCA

You've been to CiRCA before, but I'm sure you've never been to a shindig there like the one going down this Tuesday: the SummerCamp Dance Party.

Unlike the parties that typically take place at this award-winning Toronto nightclub, organizer Mark Kuznicki (who is teaming up with CaseCamp organizer Eli Singer to bring us the special soirée) claims that this Tuesday's event transforms CiRCA into" ground zero for Toronto's creative communities: art, design, communications, technology, media, social change and entrepreneurship."

SummerCamp Dance Party offers people in Toronto the opportunity to interact and engage with the creative trailblazers across the city in a night full of conversation, excitement, and of course, dancing. The event takes place immediately after CaseCamp Toronto 7, and will use the synergies created between both events to keep the creative juices flowing.

(For those of you that haven't been to CaseCamp before, I'd highly recommend it: the event regularly brings out amazing presenters — including blogTO's own Tim Shore a few months ago — to speak about communications and social media.)

Confirmed performers/presenters for SummerCamp Dance Party include:

  • Andrew McConachie (DJ)
  • Jimmy Blak (DJ)
  • Abdul Smooth (DJ + Visuals)
  • Gabe Sawhney (Interactive Visual Installation)

More information about SummerCamp Dance Party can be found on the Facebook page and more information about CaseCamp can be found on the CaseCamp wiki. See you on Tuesday night!
