Four homicides this weekend push Toronto to 78 for the year. In one incident, an accused murderer was found murdered vigilante-style, prompting police to remind the public that it's the job of the police and the law to hunt down suspects.

The Roughriders won the Grey Cup, but not before Lenny Kravitz showed off his "lowriders".

Toronto has a lot of families slipping into poverty, and being exploited by "payday loan" companies. These reports are coming out as the debate over integrating affordable social housing into wealthy neighbourhoods heats up.

Like having a drink (or two or three) before getting behind the wheel? Drinking and driving laws are about to get stricter. Now if only we could find a way to ensure that repeat offenders aren't able to get back behind the wheel over and over again.

Canadians are slowly figuring it out - stop driving to Buffalo and waiting in 6h long lineups and shop online instead.
