Still stumped for a costume tonight? Here's some inspiration for you....

In 1983, Michael Jackson released the video to Thriller, which has stood up almost 24 years later as one of the best videos of all time. It's been the inspiration behind Ines Markeljevic's desire to teach the Thriller dance to the masses.

Last year, Markeljevic got into the Guinness World Records for organizing the largest group of people doing the Thriller dance in one place when she gathered 62 dancers in Toronto. A year later, she set her sights on the world. "If you can conceptualize it, you can execute it," says Markeljevic.

On Saturday, Markeljevic staged the first worldwide Thriller dance with 1,669 people in 48 cities on five continents. Which has piqued the interest of the Record Holders Republic. The Toronto event had 51 zombies dancing at a studio in York University. The youngest were a couple of seven-year-old twin boys, whose mother danced with them too.
