It's Raining Cabbage Rolls!

I'm not going to a cottage or camping this long weekend. Instead, I'm hanging out with my lovely mom, along with a bunch of other Ukrainians and their Ukrainian-loving friends.

Just once a year are so many perogies and cabbage rolls served (although they can't compare to Baba's), and the accordions pumping, and the dancers jumping. Food, dance, film, music and more, all in celebration of Toronto's Ukrainian-Canadian culture, will be the theme at the Ukrainian Zabava at Harbourfront Centre all weekend long (the festival was previously held in Bloor West Village).

Admission is free and all are welcome. For the complete festival schedule and background on the performers, check out the festival web page.
