Weston Family Innovation Centre at the Ontario Science Centre

New Exhibit at Science Centre Wows

The new Weston Family Innovation Centre at the Ontario Science Centre opened its doors to the public earlier this week, and already it has succeeding in wowing tourists and Torontonians alike with its focus on innovation and hands-on experience. Thanks to a grant by The W. Garfield Weston Foundation, the new innovation centre lets OSC visitors participate in exciting activities and demonstrations that not only push the boundaries of their imaginations, but incorporates some really neat science learning as well.

Visitors to the exhibit can make their own pair of shoes, take apart a typewriter, create a kinetic puppet, or even express themselves lyrically with giant magnetic poetry. While most people think of the OSC as a childhood destination, there's enough to do and explore to keep the kid in even the oldest of us occupied. The Weston Family Innovation Centre is now a permanent part of the Ontario Science Centre, and is well worth the trip up the DVP to go check it out.
