Road Closed: Get a Taste of the Danforth

Once again the Greeks have taken to the street and everyone is invited. Taste of the Danforth is on now through Sunday on Danforth between Broadview & Pape.

Whether you've been there (done that) every year or it's your first time, you can rest assured you'll savour some amazing Greek food, walk enough to burn it all off and then run into an old friend or two while dancing the Zorba with an 80-year-old man high on life (or Uzo).

Some insider tips: The souvlaki is good everywhere, but try out Athens Bakery for some Spanikopita (spinach pie) or Tiropita (feta cheese pie)... hard to eat on the run, but worth every crumb on your shirt.
