Same City, New Brand

Toronto is limit-less! Apparently. That is the message that tourists will hear thanks to the Toronto Branding Project, and the logo tourists will see is an awkward combination of a 'T' and an 'O'. I think that this logo (pictured) is going to become dated faster than a calendar.

Other than the logo, I must say that I agree with the conclusions of the Branding Project. I think that it can be wonderfully summed up with "Toronto is a culture of cultures, a place of infinite opportunities where everybody is appreciated for how they stand out, not for how they fit in." This is true and is why I live in Toronto.

I question the point of having a video to go into detail about the rebranding. Regardless, the big question is if a new 'brand' brings more tourists. And if those tourists will even be welcomed.
