Toronto posters

Someone designed a bunch of new Toronto posters

There's a snazzy new line of posters available for those who want to show off their Toronto pride while decorating their living space. Designed by Ryan Bannon, the first run of the series features Trinity Bellwoods, Ossington, and Kensington Market, though an additional series is planned with more areas around the city.

The bold colour palette is meant to signify the vibrance of the neighbourhoods as well as the importance of green space to city life. As handmade items, the posters are available as a small run (100 total) at Kid Icarus. Each silkscreened print is 11x17 inches and retails for $50 (the whole set costs $125).

These are quite different from the crop of neighbourhood posters and maps currently available, so if you're in the market for Toronto-themed artwork but don't have a ton of money to spend, this could be the ticket.
