Gallery Space: Discovery

March 30th - on now in the Gallery Space:

Discovery opened this week at Propeller Gallery (984 Queen St W) and features the work of 10 international artists.

Hailing from England, Saudia Arabia, Israel, United States and Canada, the group, aged 24-52, includes a consultant, entrepreneur, former make-up artist, former newspaper executive, set designer and a massage therapist.

Reflecting on their cultural background, career experiences and journey to discover their artistic voice, each artist created a unique piece of this exhibit... and yes, you guessed right, they also all bring different media and styles to the show.

On display 'til April 8th, the work features painting, sculpture, printmaking, photography, and installation art, 'discovering' these themes:

Energy - Nava Waxman
Light - Patsy Berton
Motion - Dana Peebles
Form - Vicki Skandalaki
Design - Michele Cross
Nature - Louise D'andrade
Theatre - Elizabeth Nutting
Meaning - Jenn Smith
Emotion - Eiman Muiny
Language - Jounghwa No

Definitely worth a visit. Propeller's gallery hours are 12-6pm.
