Silverman Brings Out His Inner Chuck Norris

UPDATE: YouTube video of the events has been added.

Well, he didn't throw out a roundhouse kick for the cameras, but he sure didn't back down from a violent confrontation yesterday. Peter Silverman of the Citynews program Silverman Helps was ready to bust some chops when he was attacked by a man selling counterfeit frames for glasses. After following leads and complaints for several months, Adam Plimmer had finally told Silverman that he'd "Found God" and was prepared to have a sit down with the Silverman to discuss his criminal ways, reported Breakfast Television this morning. When he arrived, the man threw the door open and attacked the reporter with his fists and a broomstick. After locking himself inside his store, Police arrived and forcibly removed Plimmer. He's facing various assault charges now, no doubt in addition to charges he'll face for fleecing customers for months with his shoddy products.
