Bar Hop Brewco has a rooftop space decked out with hanging lights, bright accents and its own massive bar. The patio is equipped with a few large communal tables, so you can skip trying to push a bunch of two-seater options together.

Mill Street Beer Hall
Mill Street Beer Hall is one of the casual options in the Distillery District, but its patio is still much nicer (and larger) than you'll find at your average pub. Bonus, it's equipped with TVs, so if you and your friends couldn't get tickets to the Jays game, just cheer on our boys of summer here.

Macho Radio Bar
Macho Radio Bar has a massive courtyard patio with a stellar view of Canoe Landing Park. If you want to celebrate taco Tuesdays or spend your Saturday sipping mezcal in the sun with a dozen or more friends, this is a more than worthy destination.

Paupers Pub
Paupers flaunts a spacious, low-key rooftop terrace and a sidewalk patio, meaning there are multiple options for you and your pals. If you can, I suggest opting for a spot on the roof (it has its own bar, so you won't have to wait around to get a refill).

The Pilot
If your group finds itself in Yorkville, make a beeline for the Flight Deck at The Pilot. The rooftop space has optimal sun exposure, sleek stainless steel decor and enough room to fit nearly 200 drinkers and diners - so you should have no problem finding a table. If the weather is particularly nice, however, err on the safe side and make a reservation.
