OPEN NOW

  • Spiceman Mexicana, featuring an opening menu from chef Greg Couillard, is now open at 596 College Street. Look forward to tacquito sliders, chili, and mahi mahi tacos.
  • Campechano Taqueria at 504 Adelaide Street West (formerly Sadie's Diner) is now open for business and serving up tacos loaded with spit-roasted pork, chorizo, and various guisado (stewed meats).
  • 70 Down on Yorkville Avenue has relaunched with a Middle Eastern tapas-style menu.
  • Japanese-American snack food purveyor Imanishi Japanese Kitchen has already made a name for itself as a pop-up and now has a permanent home at 1330 Dundas Street West.
  • The Wickson Social from the folks behind The Queen & Beaver and The Oxley is now open at 5 St. Joseph Street.
  • Newly opened Korean BBQ joint Kasai Grill House is now open at 650 College Street.
  • Nawab Fusion Grill has opened a compact second location called Nawab Express at 1753 Avenue Road.
  • Italian coffee bar Zaza Espresso has opened another location at 200 King Street West.

  • Pizza e Pazzi at 672 St. Clair Avenue West has closed and is soon to become RIONE XI from the same owners. It will still feature Italian cuisine, just not pizza.
  • Hakka Wow is coming soon to 1433 Gerrard Street East, formerly Apalla Indian Cuisine.
  • Love Me Sweet, a new bakery that deals in Japanese Cheesecake, is slated to open mid-December at 7181 Yonge Street.
  • New coffee shop Hot Black is soon to open at 245 Queen Street West.
  • Scaddabush is slated to open another location at Simcoe Place in spring 2016.
  • Angolino, an Italian restaurant in the Junction Triangle, looks to be ready to open in the next couple of weeks.
  • The Junction is set to get a new bar called Shamone in the old Margret space.
