Libretto Porchetta

Libretto and Porchetta & Co. team up on King West

Pork sandwich pizza hybrids could soon become a regular thing as Max Rimaldi of Pizza Libretto and Nick auf der Mauer of Porchetta & Co. are opening a pair of adjacent restaurants early next year.

Earlier today the popular Dundas West sandwich shop sent Instagram and Twitter abuzz when they posted this pic announcing the new venture. Toronto Life later reported that the duo are slated to open somewhere on King West between Bathurst and Spadina where they'll be in good company with other ultra-hot newcomers to the hood like, Valdez and Home of the Brave.

Now all we need is a Khao San Road and Seven Lives hookup and then we'll be talking.

What restaurants would you like to see pair up? Add your suggestions to the comment thread below.
