Cookie Friday Co. delivers cookies directly to your door

We've all been subject to that nagging need for a freshly-baked cookie, but not wanted to leave the house for it. Well, salvation has arrived in the form of Cookie Friday Co. who are bringing hand-crafted cookies directly to your doorstep.

The cookies come in just 4 flavours that are classics--with clever tweaks. Take the Belgian dark chocolate (that's 72% chocolate) with a sprinkling of fleur de sel (sea salt), or the Peanut Butter and Jelly--a peanut cookie with grape jelly center and toasted peanuts as a topping. The S'More is a literal take on the campfire classic with a graham cracker cookie base, Belgian milk chocolate, marshmallow and an extra chunk of chocolate for good measure.

They deliver twice daily (for free), between 9am and 6pm, to areas throughout Toronto on either bike, car, TTC, or by foot. The ordering process is streamlined--just fill out their online order form, providing information such as delivery address, date, and payment method (currently either cash of PayPal). You can also specify whether it's a gift order, for some extra TLC on the tag.

Sound too good to be true? There are, of course, some caveats. The price is $20/dozen--which is heads above your corner store's uber-dry Pepperidge Farms--and you can only select two flavours per order of a dozen cookies. Deliveries are made Monday-Friday (no satisfaction for the weekend munchies, sadly) and they require a minimum of 24 hours notice to bake and deliver cookies.
