• Cask Days is finally here with 400 different types of beer. Try 'em all Evergreen Brick Works from Oct. 21 to 23.
• The Pancakes & Booze Art Show is tonight at the Opera House
• The Eatable Film Fest starts on Oct. 22 and runs until Oct. 25.
• Vegan Oktoberfest is tomorrow at Nest
• Grab a Taiwanese-style brunch at Kanpai this Sunday. Tickets are $35.
• Cookie Martinez is celebrating World Edible Insect Day with a creepy, crawly menu on Oct. 22.
• Have an Alsatian feast featuring meat from a mangalitsa pig at La Grande Choucroute on Oct. 23. This massive meal is happening at Le Select Bistro. Tickets are $125.
• For more porky fun, check out Pigstock, the annual festival celebrating the mangalitsa pig. This day-long event on Oct. 24 at Brick Works will cost you $250 and it's meant for those in the industry.
• Bombay Street Food hosts a chaat and chai-making class on Oct. 24 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.
• The Nightcap, in support of Action Against Hunger, is on Oct. 26 at the George Brown Culinary School. Tickets are $49.99.
• Henderson Brewing hosts a three course brewer's dinner at the Drake Hotel on Oct. 25. This boozy-sounding meal is $60.
• The Mill Street Brew Pub is turning 10 and it's hosting a birthday party featuring free appetizers on Oct. 27 at 6 p.m.

UPCOMING

• The first monthly Roast 'n Reggae roast beef and musical dinner starts on Oct. 30 at The Emerson.
• Celebrity chef Anthony Bourdain is speaking at the Sony Centre on Nov. 1.
• The 21st annual Eat to the Beat in support of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation is on Nov. 1 at Roy Thomson Hall. The event features 60 female chefs.
• The Craft Beer Awards are on Nov. 4 at the Enercare Centre. You can sample all of the nominees at this festival.
• The Society of Beer Drinking Ladies presents Canada's All Ladies Beer Festival on Nov. 5 at
  Wychwood Barns.
• Treat yourself to a night of good food and music at Dudes & Dukes hosted by the Food Dudes and folk band Union Duke at the Mod Club on Nov. 5. Tickets are $30.
