Toronto Food Events: Hot & Spicy Food Fest, Midnight MRKT, Toronto Food & Wine Festival, Oktoberfest

THIS WEEK

  • The 18th annual Hot & Spicy Food Festival is on this weekend from September 4 to 7 at the Harbourfront Centre. Admission is free.
  • The Steady (1051 Bloor St.) hosts a Customer Appreciation Night on Saturday, September 5 featuring $3 pints of Wellington (while it lasts) and free snacks between 9pm to 11pm followed by a dance party.

UPCOMING

  • The Midnight MRKT is back for a new season and celebrates with a Back To School edition on Friday, September 11 from 9pm at 2nd Floor Events (461 King St. West). It's $5 at the door to get in for a DJ'd evening of shopping, eating and drinking.
  • Toronto Food & Wine Festival will take place September 18 to 20 at the Evergreen Brick Works (550 Bayview Ave.). Look forward to over 130 vendors in the Grand Tasting Pavilion, live demonstrations by celebrity chefs, exclusive chef collaborations and one-of-a-kind creative food installations. General admission is $32 in advance, not including "sampling tickets".
  • Tickets are on sale now for Oktoberfest with Steam Whistle at the Roundhouse (255 Bremner Blvd) happening on Saturday, September 19th from 2pm to 11pm. $25 in advance (or $30 at the door) gets you a 1 Litre-hosen souvenir stein plus your first fill of pilsner.
