Industrial lot in Toronto will be home to huge art party

Toronto is getting better at throwing giant parties in abandoned spaces these days, but this great big art party is even more special than many we've seen for a few reasons. One Giant Night is a fundraiser party for people affected by Hurricane Matthew in a sprawling industrial lot in the Port Lands.

All the money raised will be going to the Red Cross, and it's being thrown by Giant Container and Toronto party people Undisposable, the former of which are experts at transforming shipping containers into unique, living venues.

Join the party Saturday, October 22 from 8p.m.-2a.m. inside their new massive lot space at 55 Unwin Avenue, which is now Giant Container's headquarters and walk/dance/run through four shipping containers designed by Toronto artists Fucci, Jayscale Kid Studio and Nicole Charles.

DJs Teddy Fantum, Jenno and Sophie Jones are spinning, and there'll be drinks from the likes of Ace Hill and Tito's Vodka. You'll need to RSVP to get on the guest list, which you can do at rsvp@giantcs.com.
