Capture the Hog: Photographic Observations

Last night, heading home on the streetcar after a late night blogTO meeting, I wound up across from a strange, yet insightful, old gent. Stirring up some conversation, he asks me about the blogTO sticker on my camera bag. I proceed to tell him, briefly, about the site. He sits back, nodding and reflecting on what I'd described, then says (and I kid you not),

"Interesting... Yeah, I like that. Interesting -- but what's the point? I've lived in Hogtown for all my 50 plus 20 years and it's never needed anybody to speak for it. *laugh* The hog needs NO WORDS!"

Ironically having no good words to respond with, I just laughed (moving slighly away from his leaning over) and responded, "Well, I guess it works that I take photos?"

He says, "Capture the hog."

And so it is: "Capture the hog" will be my ongoing series of photos that capture a bit about 'the hog'/TO and its indescribable self.

Today's shot: Loft Tetris.
