Book Scene: A Week Away

Obligatory news snippet: Penguin publishers is launching their blog today. Maybe Penguin Canada will jump on the bandwagon, in a kind of 'me too' way.

I'm off for a much-needed week of rest and relaxation, so the scene for me is reading the following:

Sailing Alone Around the World - true story of the first person to go all around the world entirely by sea. Pirates!
Six Weeks to Toxic - local fashion mag journalist writes novel about the seldom-examined 'friend break-up'. I'll review it here soon.
Living and Working in New Zealand - I dream of a working holiday, in a country with more sheep than people.

August is showing a little more action, I'll post next Moday with the details.
